ENPAC EnDuraLine 40 Containment Liners.

EnDuraLine™ 40 is a multi-layered, woven-reinforced geomembrane ideal for secondary spill containment liners and berms. Compared to other berm fabrics, this fabric provides increased physical properties and higher chemical compatibility and affordability.  EnDuraLine™ 40 is the new industry leader in quality, strength, practically and affordability.

Base Fabric Type:  The values in these cells could be misleading, but they detail the type of scrim reinforcement (base layer).  All of the ENPAC fabrics offered are scrim-reinforced.  PVC is traditional in the sense that they have a polyester scrim layer, while the EnDuraLine has polyethylene strands configured as a base layer. The scrim layer strengthens the fabric and make it more flexible than non-reinforced fabrics.

Base Fabric Weight:  A starting variable in strength.  Thicker / heavier base layers tend to have better tear, tensile, and puncture resistance.

Finished Coated Weight: This may be misleading and counterintuitive, since weight does not correlate with strength. It’s worth noting that the EnDuraLine is the lightest. This is a benefit since the strength properties of the fabric are equal or better than the others.  A lighter berm is easier to maneuver and set up. 

Tear, Tensile, Puncture:  Higer value indicates fabric strength and resistance to damage.

Better Chemical compatibility:  All containment fabrics that we offer have great chemical resistance, PVC coated fabric is not as resistant to fuels as EnDuraLine 40.  Fuels can react with the coating of the PVC and dry it out, potentially leading to a weaker fabric and more prone to damage/leaks.
